Cabins
The cabins are furnished similar to what you might find in a cozy hunting cabin – comfortable but not new. We provide linens, blankets, pillows, dish towels, silverware, and cookware. If specific cooking pots are needed during your stay we can generally locate something on an as needed basis.
The cabins also have screened in porches that give you a fine view of the sun setting over the lake. We have nine cabins with three to one bedrooms.
The camp is remote enough that we must generate our own electricity. We can accommodate battery chargers for trolling motors, crock pots. and breathing machines (CPAP) etc. but no other electrical appliances please. The cabins have electric refrigerators, (additional freezer space is available at the lodge if required by larger families) cold running water, electric lights, a propane gas range, indoor flush toilets, a wood stove (for heat) and plenty of furniture.
Camp Store
We run a small camp store to provide for everyday needs such as ice, bait (worms, minnows, leeches, and crayfish) and food items such as eggs, milk, bread, lunchmeat, bacon, cheese, cooking oil etc. The store is stocked with items that we generally eat so that food items are kept fresh. We sell licenses, fishing tackle and souvenirs. The store has a large inventory of board and card games lent out for rainy day activities as well as a bean bag game, bocce and croquet. The store also serves as a common area during rainy days/nights for playing pool or cards or darts or just shooting the shit and having a cold beer. We also have wireless internet service in the store so you can periodically keep up with your e-mail.
Common Areas
Our beach area features horseshoe pits, a sauna with a capacity for about 10 people and fire area for our nightly campfires. We have spacious central hot water showers for the entire camp and a fish cleaning house for the convenience of our guests.
